John Edward Gray handwritten letter signed, written to Edward William Cooke, landscape and marine painter, and Fellow member of the Linnean Society. Gray writes that he has some corals, and if they're the kind Cooke works with, "they are at your service." Good to Very Good condition.

Not only was Gray a prominent Zoologist of the time, he was the first ever stamp collector!
