Antique Limoges W.G. & Co William Guerin Lemonade Cider Pitcher Jug, Hand Painted with Fruits and Flowers
Period: 1900-1920
Dimensions: 6" tall, 7" wide and 9" from handle to the spout. The item weighs 2 lbs 4 oz without packaging.
Design/decoration/description: this beautiful plump Limoges Lemonade pitcher is painted in red, brown and green palette, featuring branches of fruit (apples or peaches) and blossoming flowers. The edge is delicately gilded.
It will enhance any room decor: living room, family, bedroom or display in the entry hall. A feast for a collector.
Back Stamp/Mark: "Limoges W.C. & Co France" stamp in green over the glaze and some quite unintelligible signature written in brown over the glaze.
Condition: Excellent antique condition, no chips, no cracks, no stains and no repairs. There are some gilding wear on the edge from the old age.
