This oil filter adapter simply screws in between the oil filter housing and the oil filter to allow the use of the commonly available spin-on type oil filters.
Spin-on type oil filters provide better filtration and flow due to the larger internal surface area.
Due to the high-quality aluminium construction of the adapter the engine oil is cooled better during operation.
The spin on type oil filter helps reduce the engine wear by retaining particles smaller than 20 microns.
The oil filter additionally has a double check valve, which prevents the oil in the upper oil circuit from flowing back into the oil pan when the engine is shut off.
