This is an excellent performance camshaft with a smooth idle! We've had tons of customers select this camshaft when looking for a cam that drives almost stock, and can be practically hidden with some exhaust systems! If you're looking for a small, stealth camshaft the 212/218 is a great option to consider. It is ideal for 4.8L, 5.3L, and 5.7L vehicles and works with a factory torque converter with a 1200-5800 RPM Power Band!
This cam uses proprietary TSP lobe profiles that are designed to utilize the factory GM LS6 single beehive valve springs and your factory pushrods, making them the most affordable cam package on the market!
This cam gained 51.4 HP and 22.9 TQ at the flywheel on our in-house SuperFlow 902 engine dyno using an otherwise stock 5.3L engine!

Hardened pushrods are a must for any valvetrain upgrade on your LS based engine. These TSP chromemoly pushrods feature .080" wall thickness & are designed for stability under high rpm use.These one-piece pushrods are heat-treated and feature oil holes that are drilled and chamfered to prevent stress fractures and cracks. Standard LS1/LS2/LS6/L92/LS3/L99 length is 7.400". If your building a custom valvetrain setup you might consider purchasing the Comp Cams adjustable pushrod measuring tool. At only about $20 it's a perfect tool for making sure you get exactly the right pushrod length for your application. A large number of variables are involved in determining the correct length pushrod for your application.Pushrod length is affected by any of the following: Block deck height
Head deck height
Head stud boss height
Rocker arm brand/design
Cam base circle size
Lifter design/brand/pushrod seat height
Valve stem length
Don't assume anything when determining the right pushrod for your new engine. A pushrod that fits one engine may not necessarily work in another. Any number of items can be different on your engine, requiring you to use a different pushrod length.
ARP LS CAM BOLTS
End your camshaft timing worries! High-quality cam sprocket bolts have increased preload clamping force to ensure positive timing gear register. Their increased material strength overcomes valvetrain harmonics and stress. These cam bolts have a reduced head size that makes installation and removal easier.
