High quality cable, length approx 1m/3ft 3ins. Replaces Yaesu CT-29F.
This handy cable allows you to program your Yaesu radio from your computer - edit and name your memories, change settings quickly and easily.
One end of the cable has a 6 pin modular (RJ12) plug which connects to the microphone socket on the radio. The other end has a USB plug which connects to the PC's USB port. The cable contains a USB to serial converter, so the radio appears as a COM port on the PC.
Avoids driver problems often encountered with cheaper
Prolific PL2303 cables, instead using the much better supported SiLabs
CP2102 chipset and works with all current versions of Windows, MacOS and Linux.
Please note that a programming cable is not an audio interface for datamodes.
Fair postage. Proof of posting obtained for all shipments. No packing charges. Orders received before 3 p.m. are normally posted on the same day (Mon-Fri).
