This charger is a special charger for AA / AAA zinc nickel battery. It is strictly prohibited to use this charger to charge other types of batteries.
Precautions for using NiZN batteries
1. Over heat: More than 40C degree during charging or 60C degree during use can make Zinc material change.
2. Over discharge: if you use it in a wireless mouse which generally discharge batteries until 0.7V will make Zinc material change and destroy batteries. It is better to end use at 1.1-1.3 volt.
3. Long time storage after full use: if you use until battery is dead and just leave it in the device, that will destroy battery. So keep the batteries with capacity. Do not use it until it is dead.
4. Over charge: It is dangerous because NiZn has different structure.
5. Low charging current: Charging hours should be no more than 6 hours no matter what charger you are using. Those smart chargers are generally with low current charging current which may destroy NiZn batteries.
