4 oz fiberglass cloth is a nice, smooth, lightweight fiberglass cloth that creates a clear, transparent laminate when saturated with resin.

It is popular in the surfboard/sailboard industry. It is also popular for use with RC aircraft, cedar strip canoes, pools, automotive and marine repairs and anywhere a smooth finish is desired. It can be used for laminating, reinforcing, sheathing and waterproofing.

This fiberglass cloth plain weave provides a uniform strength horizontally and vertically. It can be used with epoxy, polyester, and vinyl ester resin.

Layer this cloth when more strength is needed.
