- Characteristics: Festuca Intense Blue is a wirey, evergreen, grassy shrub with a compact, mounding habit. The leaves are long and form in a wire-like fashion with blue colouring. It will then flowers with blue-green spikes to add an extra dose of character to the location it is placed in. The best options for placement are in pots, borders, containers and plant displays.
- Flourishing Season: This shrub will flourish throughout the calendar year, with the wirey leaves providing great interest for any garden. Aside from that, blue-green flowering will begin to show in the period between April - June.
- Water & Maintenance: Position the plant in partial shade or full sun - the plant will appreciate any of these settings. Watering it moderately well in the first year is recommended as this is when the plant will establish itself. After this period, the plant will develop a tolerance against any mild droughts.
