This is a limited Edition Aquatint Etching of an Arctic Loon Decoy by artist, Arthur Nevin.  It is signed by Mr. Nevin, numbered 127/150, and dated 1987.  (We believe that is the date that the decoy was created rather than the etching.)  The etching is matted in a metal frame that measures 19.25 x 26.25 inches on the outside.  The opening of the mat measures 14 x 21 inches.  It is in perfect condition with no damage of any kind.

Arthur Nevin is well known for his etchings of American made waterfowl decoys which he felt were a strictly American type of folk art.  This Arctic Loon Etching is typical of Mr. Nevin's work.  One of his etchings was always limited to 150 signed copies and they are popular and a loon, especially, an Arctic Loon, is very uncommon.   (Mr. Nevin recently passed away living well into his 90's. )  Shipping will be very reasonable and we recommend shipping the matted print only and not take the chance of shipping damaged broken glass cutting into the etching.)
