The long-awaited barefoot CD...

I've been chasing my tail making digital recordings to release online during lockdown and cleaning up the the barefoot manuscripts people were asking to buy as sheet music to play at home, but I know that some of you still love to hold a physical CD in your hand.

For some of us (myself included) there's nothing better than seeing your favourite CDs lined up on the shelf, selecting the piece to suit your mood, and having the experience of placing your chosen disc into that sliding drawer and then sinking into your favourite chair to listen as you flick through the album notes...

Well, here it is...

Barefoot Originals

A limited edition collection of the original acoustic recordings of 
the first barefoot piano prayers I ever wrote.

Original Acoustic Recordings

All of the tracks on the Barefoot Originals album
were made on the very day I finished writing each piece. 

 These recordings were made for myself no one else.  
This makes the whole album feel really rather special and personal.
The thought that people might be asking me for CDs of my music never even crossed my mind at the time of either writing or recording these pieces. 

Limited Edition

Since these recordings are something akin to
my own personal musical diary I decided to
release Barefoot Originals as a limited edition album.  

This is my way of honouring the specialness and intimacy of the collection.

Digitally Remastered

Each of the tracks have been digitally remastered
to give you the best possible sound quality
while retaining the integrity of the original performance. 

So when you're listening to the album you're getting
a sneaky peak into the birth of barefoot piano prayers.

Eight Page Booklet
 

As well as the CD itself you will receive an eight page booklet containing notes on the origins of each track as well as some biographical information and details about the barefoot piano prayers project and the concept behind the Barefoot Originals album.
