This is a handsome two-volume set (400 pages each) on Australia's Outback history, with an unflinching eye on the impact of white settlement on the Aborigines.  Each volume is lavishly illustrated with maps and photos (colour, sepia and black & white) of the history and culture of the Australian Outback.
