Our 2:1 epoxy laminating resin system is a two part high strength resin. It is water resistant which makes it perfect for a variety of composite applications including boats and surfboards.

Other popular uses:

-As an adhesive for bonding fiberglass, wood, metal and some plastics
-Composite parts
-High performance and light weight parts
-Mixed with fillers to achieve thixotropic properties for high strength adhesives

Application:

-The ideal working temperature for epoxy resin is 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit. It is important that the room, resin and surface area are all 75-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

-Make sure surface is prepped and free of dust or other contaminates before mixing epoxy.
-Accurate measuring is very important. This 2:1 epoxy is measured by volume.
-Thoroughly mix for 3-5 minutes making sure to scrape the sides and bottom of container.
-Apply with fiberglass roller, brush, squeegee or spreader.
-Wear appropriate safety clothing

Storage:

-Store epoxy resin in cool, dry area.

Medium hardener- Most popular hardener with a gel time of 20-30 minutes in 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
