This auction is for two original watercolor and ink artworks created and signed by the artist Jan Clausing. They were matted and glued to the mattes so I removed them - there is glue residue along margin of each but it does not affect the artwork. The art looks clear and both present very nicely. They have some light tanning along edge from being framed. They were made on very thick art board and one has title The Red Bed - the other depicts two young boys peacefully playing at the beach along the shore. The Red Bed has the artists name and address on a tag at rear Hendersonville North Carolina -- Each measure approximately 12 by 15 inches. If you have any questions please let me know. I believe this artist was originally an art director at Radio City Music Hall - the Red Bed may have been from a theater production / used for set design. He may have also designed posters / graphics for during World War Two for posters.
