Named after the Japanese term for a regular wooden pencil, Enpitsu
mechanical pencils combine the simple elegance of a wooden pencil with
the convenience of a mechanical pencil. Its versatile 0.7 mm lead is
thick enough to write smoothly and resist breakage while still being
fine enough for detailed notes and illustrations. The body of the pencil
is made from soft, grippy elastomer and has a triangular shape that is
comfortable to hold and keeps the pencil from rolling away. Its tip is
retractable, minimizing the chance for accidental pokes while the pencil
is not in use. Instead of a cap that could get lost, the pencil has a
top that does not come off, and lead can be inserted through it without
removing any parts.
