Touring Grade Klotz High Performance 2 core matt black Speaker Lead - for use with passive speaker. 1/4 6.35mm Jack Plugs.

The cable and connectors deliver excellent robust, performance, made from Klotz 2 core cable, that forms a short twisted pure copper pair which ensures EMC emissions are lower than standard non twisted cables. Winding and coiling the cable after a gig is also easy, the cable is flexible due to its design and construction. We make this lead using our advanced soldering systems with 4 percent silver lead free solder (ROSH complement). We have in excess of 30 years experience in the pro audio sector and have successfully provided excellent quality workmanship and service throughout.

Cable Length - Know what you are buying:

We cut the cable to length and then add connectors. The connectors will use 55mm of cable in each connector. If you require the lead slightly longer we can do this but it is always best to keep the lead short and avoid coiling the cable.

Cable and Connectors:

The cable is designed for touring, flexibility and robustness, 1.5mm² 2 core. Overall 7mm Diameter. Made in Germany. 

The Jacks are designed with touring life in mind and are made from solid brass and plated with nickel. The Jack contact are CNC machined in one piece, this ensures they will not fall apart like other Jack plugs when touring life gets hard. The black body Jacks are black chrome. A patented chuck type cable grip within the plug ensures that the cable stays firmly where it should stay even when the cable is pulled excessively. We always pride ourselves in providing a product that can be trusted to do the job that it is intended to do and you have every confidence that it will not let you down at the critical time when using the lead. 

Application:

Primary use of this lead is between the low impendance Jack output of a power amplifier to a passive speaker Jack input. Can be used for linking passive speakers. Can be used for guitar amplifer to passive speaker cabinet. Passive means connection direct to the speaker or a passive crossover network built within the speaker cabinet, there are no active components. Please do not use this lead between a guitar and guitar amplifier input as some customers have in the past! (Not reading the description) buzzing sound be evident through the speaker if used in this way. Note we sell and make many other leads.
