(Minot, North Dakota), 8 5/8 x 11 1/8 inches tall pale blue cloth hardcover in publisher's unclipped dust jacket, black design and lettering to front cover and spine, copiously illustrated with black-and-white photographs and genealogical tables, 368 pp. Very slight rubbing to covers. Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - in a slightly soiled, creased and edgeworn dust jacket which has a couple of small closed edge tears but which is nicely preserved and displayed in a clear archival Brodart sleeve. Scarce. OCLC (No. 866862475) locates only five copies at institutions worldwide. Note that this is a heavy and oversized book, so additional postage will be required for international or priority orders.

A Hanson family genealogy and history. Peter Hanson, son of Hans Svensson and Olue Persdotter, was born in 1822 in Kristianstad, Skane, Sweden. He married Karna Mansdotter Monson (1827-1903), daughter of Mans Lustig and Sissa Hakansdotter, in 1846. They had eight children. They emigrated and settled in Iowa. He died in 1889. Descendants and relatives lived mainly in Iowa and North Dakota. Includes Cline, Cooper, Eckert, Johnson, Zwicker and related families. Extensively indexed.
