Breakdown of Startup Extra 4 Day Training Course

Day 1: You learn how to inspect an oven before any cleaning work begins to spot potential problems and faults in the condition and working of an oven.

·         You will learn how to:

  • Set up your equipment.
  • Protect the work area so as to not leave any mess in the customer’s home.
  • Remove all cleanable parts from the oven, hob and extractor.
  • Use the oven cleaning dip tank and cleaning of any removable parts.
  • Remove doors, remove back plate. Take off the fan, clean and replace.
  • Clean stainless steel without scratching and how to oil the stainless steel to make it look like new.
  • Cleaning an extractor, removing the cover, cleaning and replacing the filter.
  • Polish and clean the exterior of the appliance.

Day 1-4: Is spent on the road with our technicians putting what you have learnt into practice with one of our own technicians at your side going through the steps in a customer environment. This is not in a lab/mock environment we take you to customer homes where you can see real world dirt build up and apply your knowledge alongside out technicians. 

We do also do Aga and BBQ cleaning if these do not come up in the practical on the road training then we will discuss these with you and how you would approach these types of appliances.

If you pick the ‘Startup Extra Package’ you get everything you need to start earning an income from oven cleaning as soon as you have completed the oven cleaning training. This includes the stainless steel dip tank which we will fit into your van with the addition of a partition to separate your tools and gas tank from your chemical dip tank. Tools and chemicals will also be provided. Included are enough of the required chemicals to clean your first 75 ovens (approximately). Further tools and chemicals can be ordered from us as and when required.
