MD A30 - Maryland Burley type tobacco with
HEAVY yields similar to MD 609.
MD A30 has very good disease resistance to Mosaic virus
and Blaсk shank.
Grows to 6 feet
in height and produces very large leaves to 36" long and 18" wide.
It air cures to a light reddish brown color.
Maryland tobacco is commonly used in cigarettes alone, or in a blend.
One of the main ingredients in Marlboro cigarettes.
It is also used as a cigar filler and a pipe tobaccos.
Matures in 55-75 days.
Can be Sun Cured with no additional fermentation. Nicotine content medium to strong. Seeds remain viable for 5 to 10 years.
