Shrink tube is measured by diameter. the distance across the open circle...IT IS NOT measured by the flat external width but if you need to know the width of the tubing in its flat form (before it is shrunk down) please see below;

Our black deluxe shrink wrap tubing is thicker and softer than the majority of shrink wrap tubing being sold on the market today, resulting in a more comfortable, durable, non-slip grip and finish. It has a 2:1 shrink ratio, which basically means it will shrink to half of its size. For example, a 30mm shrink wrap tubing will shrink to 15mm and a 20mm shrink wrap tubing will shrink to 10mm. You can use either a hair dryer or heat gun to shrink the tubing down (heat gun is quicker). Hot water can also be used but be careful not to burn yourself!

We have previously sold other colours of the tubing but have to come to the conclusion that black is by far the classiest and looks the part, adding a professional touch.
