Unfortunately, this rare treasure has some VERY clearly visible wear!
While the wear is extensive, considering the rarity of this book, it is still in Highly Collectible condition!
The wear, however, should be carefully examined/considered BEFORE buying.
The
book appears gently read and has no internal writing, no foxing, no
remainder marks, no missing pages and is NOT Ex-Libris or a BCE.
The binding is holding tight and the pages are still surprisingly crisp and clean!
Some
general/shelf wear along with a very noticeable lean, creases/scuffing/rips/wear to the
spine/corners/boards, particularly noticeable along the edges, and creases/wear to the pages, particularly noticeable at the corners and near/along the edges.
Please note the wear on the spine/corners/cloth boards and on the pages!
We purposely and closely photographed what we consider to be the most obvious and egregious wear.
The wear is very clearly visible and should be carefully examined/considered.
The original, First State dust jacket is fully intact and NOT price-clipped but has substantial wear!
Some general/shelf wear along with creases, chipping, marks and rips resulting in some loss of paper.
There are also numerous pieces of clear tape attached to both the front and inside of the dust jacket!

tend to grade the condition of our books rather harshly and took into
consideration any and all wear when determining the value of this rare

Our VERY LOW asking price is a reflection of that consideration and if this copy was in better condition our asking price would be considerably higher.
