Detachable and armed aircraft under the symbol G-1 were transferred as cargo-passenger, and later - as purely cargo (for example, they were transported from the mines under Ashgabat).

 

About 40 aircraft transferred to Glavsevmorput, where they flew until 1945.

 

Tupolev TB-1(ANT-4), G-1 - Soviet bomber. The world's first serial all-metal twin-engine bomber [2]. A free-flying monoplane with a thick multi-spar wing, corrugated trim. The aircraft was developed in 9 months and built from chainmail aluminum in 1925. In service with the Red Army Air Force until 1936. Sometime before 1945, they were used at least until 1945. The restored G-1 (registration number USSR-N317) is an exhibit of the museum of civil aviation in Ulyanovsk.
