DESCRIPTION:  Vintage 1956 Chevrolet truck Eaton 2-speed rear axle service booklet - Chev

A service booklet for the 1956 Chevrolet truck Eaton 2-speed rear axle.  It was published by the Chevrolet Motor Division of General Motors Corporation in the USA in June 1956 as a resource for staff working in the service departments of GM dealers and service agents. It is a soft-cover booklet of 36 pages and contains information on the various steps in servicing of this rear axle with black and white illustrations,  utilizing the information drawn from the Chev staff training slidefilm of the period "Eaton two-speed rear axle overhaul".

Condition: This original 1956 Eaton two-speed rear axle service booklet is in fair original condition showing general wear from use. The covers show surface wear and scrapes, dirty marks and stains and creases. The stapled binding is still good. The inside pages are generally good with some marks and creases.  Measures approx 8 by 5 inches in size.
