DESCRIPTION:   Here is a 19th century hand painted Cozzi pottery figure of a male masked theatre goer holding a fan. He is dressed in a green floral coat, a reddish / orange garment and a mauve garment that goes over his head. He is wearing a black tricorn type hat and black shoes and has a white mask. Marked to the base with a raised red enamel anchor.

SIZE:  The figure measures 7 3/8 inches high. Weighs 600 g before packing.

CONDITION:  As in picture 9 there is a blow hole in the top of his hat which is in the making with a couple of glaze chips to the corners of the tricorn hat. The fan has a triangular chip as in picture 6 and the ball at the base of the fan under the figures hand is missing as in picture 10. The top of the base appears a little dirty but this is kiln dust from the firing which is also in the making. Otherwise it is in good condition.
