Uchiwa paddle fans are used mostly in the home or office, and sometimes tucked in the front of a kimono.  Made in Japan, this fan measures 10 1/4" length x 6 7/16" wide, is made with paper and bamboo handle.  A beautiful court lady or geisha is pondering her next brush stroke with her calligraphy art brush.  Sticker on the back has logo and "Japan".  This is a retail backstock and has never been used.
