This auction is for what we believe is a 1984 U.S. Military first aid pouch with contents meant to be carried in the field by all soldiers.  It contains a packet of camouflaged wound dressing that is sealed in a waterproof packet with instructions on the outside and inside.  This dressing packet has not been opened.

The pouch measures 5" x 4" and has a snap closure.  The writing on it is unclear.  On the outside is the usual "U. S." and on the inside is a good deal of faded text.  The heading for this text is a "2" and it reads something like: this is a container for a first aid packet...  On the back is a clip for fastening the pouch to a belt.  This pouch is clean and appears to be almost unused.

The first aid packet has writing that is more legible but still incomplete. (please see photos for the writing on the packet as well as the pouch)
