This item is a 1974-1982 Corvette Dome Light Housing without the light socket. It will fit and function exactly as your original. 

This is a brand new reproduction of the original Dome Light Housing (GM part # 6270493) for 1974-1982 Corvettes. May fit other GM vehicles.
