GPIO Optoisolator / Converter Octoprint 3.3v to 5v DIY KIT Description GPIO Optoisolator / Converter Octoprint 3.3v to 5v DIY KIT Here we have a pcb designed to allow control of 5v/12v devices from a 3.3v GPIO Designed for use with the Raspberry Pi and Octoprint with the Enclosure Plugin this KIT makes it simple to install the relay control boards normally only suited to 5v GPIO control This takes a 5/12v input, Common GND and GPIO (Switched HIGH 3.3 or 5v) - It then outputs 5/12v (whichever is input), Common GND and GPIO (Switched HIGH 5/12v from input) It can also be use to isolate the GPIO from the load on same voltage if required although a resistor is normally adequate. This PCB includes the R2 resitstor which protects the optocoupler. If a pullup resistor is required there is space R1 on the PCB but isnt normally needed (4.7k is normally used if required and can be supplied). This kit includes the PCB and components ready to solder. No wiring is included - Please chose wiring sized appropriatly for the load driven. All supplied components are through hole mounted so no special soldering requirements THIS IS A DIY KIT - BASIC SOLDERING SKILLS ARE REQUIRED All items are tested, security marked & photographed before dispatch From a non smoking and pet free household.
