You are bidding on an Antique c.1890 Victorian, Sepia Colored Photograph / Photo Celluloid Large Fold Down, Vanity / Dresser Box Featuring Two Women in Period Gard. This wonderful piece period dressing box is in very good condition. The photograph surfaces of the celluloid are in excellent condition with very little damage or wear. Four outside surfaces are celluloid and the rest is a thin printed paper that looks like a wood grain, or bottom which is black paper. All of the outside hinges are strong and sturdy, as is the wood box frame. The interior was stripped long ago of the satin stuffed interior and the interior hinge needs to be repaired as it is bent. It is a wonderful blank slate to have fun designing with new lining and or paper. Fun project. Original mirror. Selling as found.
