Chinese figural peach covered box with etched and hand painted design depicting tree, leaves, and rock formations with applied ox bone peaches on branches all over red lacquer ground next to 2 cranes.  Black lacquer interior. Late Qing Dyansty to Republic period.

Condition:  exposed area on the rim bottom when opened.   Minor hairline crack near rim , please see photographs.

 Measures 4 1/4 inch height (10.7 cm) x 11 inch length (27.9 cm) x 11 1/2 inch width (29.21 cm). Total weight of 1232 grams or 2.12lbs.
