Very Super Collectible, Very Rare and Vintage is this Original First Release of the Schrade Walden USA 285UH Trapper's Knife in 1967, the liners Serial #27932 appears on the inside rear brass liner behind the Uncle Henry Signature Series Bombshell Shield.  It has never been carried, used or sharpened and has been a part of a very exclusive and very private collection since it's release in 1967.

  This is a Super Great Collectible as a very early 1967 Schrade Walden 285UH Trapper with the famous 

1095 Hardened Carbon

"Razor Ground Blades"

Without a doubt it would be the perfect gift for the hardcore Schrade Walden Collector and it could be used as an "EDC" for that avid Outdoorsman, hunter or fisherman as well but it's value is without ends to collectors around the globe so I'd personally be very hesitant using it.  It measures 3-7/8" closed and it has absolutely no wiggle and has perfect walk and talk on both blades with the factory edges and factory millcuts, it does have very lite patina on both blades which can be viewed in the picture provided.  This is also the introduction of Staglon, a DuPont Resin Acetal Homopolymer created for the United States Space Program or NASA in the Late 1950's and released for public use in 1967. The Stag Appearance (Staglon) handles are tight and uncracked. 

The Liners are Coined or Fluted as many call this early machinists style but some refer to them as Reeded as well, the bolsters are made of Nickel Silver and they're brilliant.

NOTE

If you're a Schrade Walden Collector and you don't have this initial Release of the 285UH by Schrade Walden in 1967 then you're going to want to take a look at this set.

For beginner collectors and knife enthusiasts everywhere this is where the buck stops when it comes to the Uncle Henry Line.

 if I don't say so myself it lives up to all the claims.
