Tin German cash register on pedestal original tin mechanical bank circa 1915-1920's. Possibly made by the Amfoe Company in Germany circa 1915-1920's. But, we are not entirely certain of the company that made it. The bank measures 4 3/8 inches tall by 3 3/8 inches square across the base. The bank has areas of wear & a bit of overall funkiness in its general appearance. But, the bank has lots of it's all original finish present. Also, it has the appearance that it would possibly clean up a lot. Under the bank is a key lock coin trap. We do not have the key. The back bottom of the cash register is marked in red "Germany".

When the crank is turned a bell rings loudly. When the lever at the lower right next to the coin slot is pressed this releases the cash register drawer. When the lever is pressed the drawer is supposed to spring right out. But, the drawer is tight & requires manual movement to move it out. When the drawer is moved in and out a bell rings.

The three levers on the upper area of the cash register all individually move & register numbers on three rotating wheels on the back. We do not know what all of the precise & correct operational procedures are for this bank when it is working properly &/or the sequence that the procedures should take place. So, we do not know whether or not it will operate correctly.
