For sale are twinned Herkimer diamond crystals. In this listing, we have added only those crystals that whose Twinned crystals are clearly visible. Twin crystals take very unusual shapes. Each twinned crystal has a unique physical form. Approximately 1 in 5 crystals is found with clear twinning in Herkimer diamond quartz crystals. Twining means 2 or more crystals grow together by intersecting each others crystal lattice.

These are high luster, best quality quartz crystals. You will see in the pictures that the crystals are shiny and some have black carbon or oil inclusions.

Double Terminated Quartz Crystals were first discovered in Herkimer county in New York and that is why they are also called Herkimer diamonds. Later the same or better quality crystals were discovered in Baluchistan province of Pakistan.
