VINTAGE SHABBY
PATRIOTIC SANTA CLAUS
Measures aprox. 10 inches tall to the top of his hat, while the block he sits on is, 3 1/2 length by 2 inches wide. Santa at widest point is aprox. 6 1/4" from bag to left elbow.
I do not know the age of this shabby Patriotic Santa but do think he is pretty sweet despite of his old condition. Please notice the cotton edging that is around his hat, end of sleeves and around the bottom of his outfit. The cotton is missing from one side of the bottom of his outfit. The cotton ball like trim also looks dirty and tattered. There are some stains on his outfit that could be tea stains. Which really makes me question if the stains are real or put there intentionally to give one the feeling that this Santa may have been a Soldier Santa? He is carrying the American Flag in his bag. Sticks for a handy campfire! His face and hands are either a soft plastic or may possibly be rubber. I like his shabby look! He has the fat cheeks, one could pinch, blue eyes that sparkle and a cute pug nose!
