1. Boot Loop / Stuck on Logo
(Most Common)
This is the most frequent sign that the main processor or memory on the
board has failed.
- Blinking Logo: The Vizio logo on the
front of the TV blinks endlessly (usually white to orange/yellow) but the
TV never actually turns on.
- Stuck on Logo: The TV powers on, shows
the "Vizio" splash screen on the panel, and freezes there. It
never loads a picture or sound.
- Restart Loop: The TV turns on, shows
the logo, shuts off, and turns back on by itself repeatedly.
2. HDMI Input Failure
- No Signal: You plug in a working
HDMI device (Xbox, Cable Box), but the TV displays "No Signal".
- Port Specific: Sometimes only one HDMI
port dies, but frequently they all stop working while the rest of the TV
(menus/apps) seems to work fine.
3. Power Issues (Dead TV)
- Amber/Yellow Light: The status light on the
front stays solid amber/yellow, but the TV will not respond to the remote
or the power button.
- No Response: The TV appears
completely dead with no lights, even though the power supply is working
(this occurs if the main board isn't sending the "on" command to
the power supply).
4. Audio Issues
- No Sound: The picture works
perfectly, but there is no sound from the speakers or audio outputs.
5. Sluggish Performance
- Slow Response: The TV takes a very
long time to respond to remote commands (volume, menu) or feels
"laggy" before eventually freezing or crashing.
