It's the time of the year that your house looks the prettiest..smells the yummiest...even sounds the best 
with Christmas carols and children's laughter...
Every year we do our best to make this time super special so we dress our Christmas trees ( real or artificial ) with beautiful Christmas ornaments/decorations, we carefully choose and wrap Christmas gifts for our friends and family, we get busy in the kitchen...we clean the house...then when everything is ready we finally sit down to relax and then we notice that our Christmas tree looks lovely with lights and ornaments, but the the Christmas tree stand is not that pretty to look at. When the gifts are piled up under the tree it may look ok, but when the gifts are gone you may wish you have bought a Christmas tree skirt!

How big a tree skirt to buy will depend on your personal taste and the size of your tree. 
However if in doubt go for the bigger size. 
"Too big" will always look better than too small. 
A rule of thumb would be to buy at least the same size as the diameter of the bottom
 of your Christmas tree. Bigger would look more luxurious, and will have an added benefit of
 collecting more pine needles, as even an artificial Christmas tree loose some.
