Full, unused and unstruck matchbook in very good condition from the Stardust Resort and Casino, A Boyd Group Enterprise, that was located on The Strip at 3000 Las Vegas Boulevard South in Las Vegas, Nevada. This unusual 40 strike matchbook was manufactured by Applied Graphics in Larkspur, California.

The Stardust opened at noon on July 2, 1958. In 1964, with the addition of the nine-story tower, later called the East Tower, the room count increased to 1,470. For the next 5 years the Stardust was the leader in rooms in Las Vegas until 1969 when The International opened. Most of the modern casino complex, including the main 32-story tower, was built in 1991. The Stardust officially closed at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time on November 1, 2006 after operating continuously for 48 years. It was imploded on March 13, 2007, around 2:33 A.M. and, at it's demolition, was the youngest undamaged high-rise building to ever be demolished. The end of an era.

All matchbooks are sealed in plastic wrap and shipped in a protective cardboard sleeve to prevent any damage to the product. I do combined shipping and " get it there fast" shipping. I try to charge only the actual cost of shipping and never a handling charge. Thank you.
