ATTENTION!!! This listing is for a REPAIR KIT THAT WE WILL INSTALL into your original Infiniti QX4 engine computer (ECU). You are not buying the module shown in photos. After checkout, you will send us your engine computer. Please send us your computer only, no brackets. We will install the repair kit, test the computer on a special test stand and on our test vehicle, then mail it back to you. No additional programming or coding is required. Repairs typically take 1-2 business days. In certain cases, repairs may take longer due to the condition of the module. 2000-2003 Infiniti QX4 engine computers are often damaged as a result of a faulty Idle Control Valve (IAC). If your Idle Control Valve failed and now diagnostic scanning shows trouble code 0505 - your ECU is damaged and needs to be repaired. VERY IMPORTANT: You will need to replace the idle control valve (IACV-AAC) and throttle position sensor before installing your rebuilt ECU or the computer will be damaged again. Closely check the wiring harness and connector to the IACV valve. In some cases the wires can get so hot that they melt in the harness and create an additional short on their own.
