Storing and using our Leather Glue
PLEASE NOTE: Always test on an inconspicuous area before use. Fully read and understand the instructions provided before use. Not suitable for use on Suede or Nubuck items.
How to apply our Leather GlueStep 1
Begin by inserting the fabric repair patch into the hole, ensuring it lies flat beneath the leather and fully covers the tear. Apply a generous amount of leather glue to the underside of the tear and onto the patch itself, evenly coating the surface. Press both sides of the tear together firmly, aligning the edges to restore the natural look and feel of the leather. The patch will reinforce the repair, providing added strength and durability.
Step 2
Use a hairdryer to gently heat the glued area for about 5 minutes, ensuring that the glue bonds securely. As the glue cures, keep the leather held together to maintain a tight seal. Avoid disturbing the area during this process for the best results.
Step 3
Once the glue has fully cured, wipe away any excess with a clean cloth. If necessary, touch up the area with our Leather Repair Pen to recolour and conceal the repair area.
