The rated capacity (nominal power) of heat exchangers is the capacity calculated with high parameters (i.e., high temperatures and flow rates). It is not related to the capacity in kW of the heating device (fireplace, heat pump, or boiler) for which the heat exchanger is used. Selecting a heat exchanger is not always easy and should be done by a professional or someone who has the experience.
