Brake pad bedding instructions:

1. After new brake pads are installed they require a simple “bedding” procedure beginning with 6-10 moderate stops from around 35mph. Try not to take too long in between stops or stay stopped for too long during this step. (Don’t drag the brakes)

2. Make additional 2-3 hard stops from around 45mph. Again, try not to take too long in between stops or stay stopped for too long during this step. (Don’t drag the brakes)

3. Continue to drive around for 15-20 minutes to allow the brakes to cool down. If you must use the brakes during the cool down step, use them lightly.

4. Your brake pads are ready for use!
