PASTEMATE HAIR

The Pastemate Hair was designed to alleviate the two most common problems associated with paste fishing, ie missing bites due to the hook point being covered, and the paste coming off during the cast.

The Pastemate hair rig incorporates a ball around which paste is moulded, the same as with our standard Pastemate. The difference lies with the stem which is clear and much thinner than on the standard Pastemate. The hook is passed through a small disc on the end of the �hair�, which is slid around the hook and over the hook eye which it sits against, held in place via a small length of silicone tube cut from the length provided. They are suitable for use with all types of paste, and can be easily removed should a change of bait be required.

Also available in standard size to suit hook sizes 4 � 12 and small size to suit 12 � 18 hooks.

BAIT CAGE

Made from soft neutrally buoyant plastic that is virtually invisible in water, our Bait Cages offer the angler a new concept in bait presentation, making it possible to present baits in a way like never before.

Baits such as caster and hemp can be squashed once inside the cage to release juices and oils, sweetcorn pulp can be squeezed out of its skin into the cage to produce a juicy sweetcorn �ball�. Boilie crumb, mini pellets, crushed tiger nuts, chopped worm, paste, liquidised or punched bread can all be used individually or mixed in the cage to give an enticing hook bait, that crayfish and small nuisance fish cannot destroy. Eight or nine large maggots will produce a writhing ball, that fish find irresistible as they get stuck trying to escape through the mesh.

Thread one of the discs onto the hair rig first before attaching the bait cage open end facing up the hair. Secure with a hair stop beneath the solid base. Once filled, slide the disc down to seal the opening.

MEATMATE

A specially designed hair stop for use with soft meat baits such as luncheon meat, meatballs etc.

Virtually eliminates the cheesewire cutting effect normally encountered when hair rigging meat. Can also be used as an anchor point for hair rigged paste balls.

WORM STOP

The Worm Stop is a simple but effective soft rubber stop, that prevents lively worms wriggling off a barbless or semi-barbless hook.

They come in a pack of 24 along with an applicator tool which is is used to put the stops on to the hook. Suitable for use with lobworms, redworms and dendrobaena�s

They can be re-used many times and are suitable for use with hook sizes 4-14.

HOOK SKINS

Designed primarily to disguise the bare hook when using hair rigged baits, hook skins also resemble a pupa/larvae which form part of a fishes natural diet.

By blending in with the bottom colour and eliminating glint from the sun, their use could give the angler an advantage when targeting hook shy, wary fish. They can also be used as a bait.  The pack includes two colours for use over silt or gravel.

PELLET SKINS

A hollow imitation pellet soft enough to be side hooked or hair rigged. Designed to take 4,6 and 8mm pellets, or fill with paste to create a hybrid hook bait.

Ideal for carp, barbel, chub etc, our Pellet skins provide a quick and effective means of attaching hard pellets, without the need for drilling or fiddly bait bands. They combine the durability of an imitation bait with the food source attraction of real bait, the buoyancy of the skins helping to create a balanced hook bait.

CORN SKINS.

Ideal for carp, bream, tench etc, our new Corn Skins combine the durability of an imitation bait, with the food source attraction of a real bait.

AVAILABLE IN WHITE & YELLOW.

Fill the soft hollow skins with paste to create a balanced bait, use an empty skin or fill with bread to produce a buoyant hook bait. The hair stop can be concealed inside.

BOILIE SPIKE

No fiddly hair stops, re-bait in seconds, simply tie hair and push into bait.

Our boilie spikes are made from lightweight reinforced plastic giving a superior rigidity to diameter ratio. Suitable for use with all types of boilie, including pop-ups, as well as tiger nuts, maize etc. Their slim profile enables them to be pushed into boilies, without splitting the bait.

The retaining barbs ensure that the bait remains securely attached during casting. The packs come with two lengths, the longer version is ideal for double baits and snowman rigs, both sizes can be cut to suit any size of bait.

SWEETCORN HAIRSTOPS

Our buoyant sweetcorn hair stops combine the fish attracting properties of our imitation corn, with the convenience of an easy to use hair stop, eliminating the need for a traditional dumbbell type stop.

Ideal for use with boilies, pellets, nuts etc, acting as a sight tag to further enhance their attraction, a tactic that many of the country�s top carp angler�s have adopted. Their buoyancy helps to counterbalance the weight of the hook bait, increasing the chances of a pick up.

Directions for use:-

Simply place the sweetcorn hair stop, grooved side up, into the hair loop before bulling the hair tight, ensuring the loop sits in the bottom of the groove.

Combined hair and hair stop. Use instead of a traditional hair stop to enhance the attraction of boilies, pellets etc.

BLOODWORM HOOK SKINS

Designed primarily to disguise the bare hook when using hair rigged baits, hook skins resemble bloodworms which form part of a fishes natural diet.

By imitating a natural bloodworm and eliminating glint from the sun, their use could give the angler an advantage when targeting hook shy, wary fish. We recommend using in conjunction with our artificial bloodworms. They can also be used on there own as a larger bloodworm bait.

Place the bloodworm in a loop formed in the hook length, pull tight and knot. Attach to the hook with a knotless knot. Thread a hook skin onto a sharp pointed baiting needle, bringing the needle out the side 5mm from the end. Keeping the hook length taught, slide the hook skin down and carefully over the hook eye and along the shank to form the finished rig.
