550 FireCord is the next evolution in outdoor gear preparedness. 550
parachute cord or "paracord" has been the standard go-to for
most cordage needs as it has tons of utility.
Now, with FireCord you can also use your paracord Zipper Pulls as tinder! Each zipper pull is made up of 6inches of
FireCord, sealed with a black zipper pull.
Sold in packs of 5 and available in three different colour options.
FireCord consists of genuine US made 550 paracord with an additional
internal tracer line that is made from LiveFire firelighting tinder. Whilst the tracer is encased in the paracord
sleeve it is no more volatile than traditional paracord (yes, you can still
melt the ends to seal them!) Outside the
sleeve the tracer ignites with ease, burns very hot and features a long burn
time for its volume. AND it’s completely
waterproof!!!
Once the tracer has been used your zipper pulls can be resealed and used again on your kit bags and clothing – Just remember which ones have been stripped for their LiveFire tinder!!
