A Beautiful Porcelain Figurine entitled " Stop Press" HN#2683 by Royal Doulton. This lovely hand made and hand decorated white bone china Figurine is designed by Mary Nicholl and issued between 1966 - 1986. It features a businessman sitting on a wooden crate patiently waiting for the bus, dressed in business attire: a dark brown overcoat with vest, white collared shirt and tie, blue pants, beige hat, reading a newspaper and munching on a hot dog. At his feet is a satchel containing a thermos and some other food and next to him is a newspaper bin containing several daily papers and a partially unwrapped burger, waiting to be devoured. This whimsical Figurine measures approx. 7 5/8" high and 4 1/2" in length. An Estate find, he is in EXCELLENT Condition. A nice piece to add to your Collection!
