This Mexican sterling silver (marked) ring features a large, faceted, 11.2 millimeter amethyst. The beautiful stone rises 3/8 inch above the setting. The top of the ring is one inch long and open work continues down the sides. The ring is size 7 1/2 and weighs 6.5 grams. It is signed "S P" and has an eagle mark with 93 inside. This stunning ring is in excellent condition, except one of the six prongs is broken at the top (see close-up in 4th photo).  This does not affect the security of the stone, which is is still securely set.
