Title: Vintage Zaalberg Holland Studio Pottery Bark Vase – Mid Century Modern Stoneware (#14)
A beautiful, authentic piece of vintage mid-century modern Dutch studio pottery made by Zaalberg Potterij in Holland.
Handcrafted during the 1960s or 1970s, this cylindrical stoneware vase features a striking, highly tactile brutalist "bark" or chiseled textural relief surface. The exterior highlights a gorgeous contrast between the raw, earthy red clay and dark speckled char tones, while the interior features a clean, light-colored smooth glaze.
The bottom is clearly impressed with the official "Zaalberg Holland / Made in Holland" studio stamp, along with the model number 14. A perfect addition to any Scandinavian, Mid-Century Modern, or Brutalist ceramic collection.
