1910-30 Vintage STRIPPY BARS Antique Quilt Top - Plenty of Fabric 4 Restoration

This is a general purpose utility STRIPPY OR BARS pattern quilt top pieced from an array of  plaids, checks and stripes.
I purchased this top during 2002 from a seller living in Alabama: USA…..it measures 75” x 77”.

There are 14 x long bars sewn together by hand side-by-side in a strippy fashion......the bars measure approx. 5" wide.
                                           
You can see that this top originally was from a quilt or coverlet as there's evidence of the stitching holes left from the binding on the outside of the quilt.
Overall it's in good condition for age….the stitching and fabrics are still strong with one just tear to the outer edge of the blue and white plaid.
There are a few minor storage stains (see photos) and I didn’t note any significant odours.
With a little effort this could be finished into a gorgeous serviceable quilt,….or the fabrics salvaged and used for another project.
