1880’s CRIB-SIZE LOG CABIN Antique QUILT Vintage - 42" x 42" - DISPLAY/RESTORE!

This charming 1880’s SUNSHINE & SHADOWS LOG CABIN ALBUM Crib Quilt contains gorgeous pink, brown & blue fabrics set amongst a lovely variety of shirtings.
I purchased this darling little quilt during 2007 from a seller living in Pennsylvania: USA….it measures 42” x 42”.

There are 36 x hand pieced Log Cabin Blocks each measuring 6” x 6”….these have then been sewn together by hand with a triple border to finish the quilt.
I believe this quilt was well used yet still remains in good condition for it's age….the seams and fabrics are strong on the whole.
One brown floral fabric used throughout has shattered and will need replacing..... I estimate that to be 5% of the quilt.
The backing fabric is a charming Lancaster blue floral that has some brown staining as pictured.
I didn’t note any significant odours.

This would be a wonderful project to restore and hang on display.
