Original, published (x3) cover artwork by the very talented D’Ami Bigfignandi.

This painting was originally used on Battle Picture Library No.32 (published October 1961) when it appeared with a half white, half blue background.

It was then reused War Picture Library 565 with a blue background titled “Danger Zone”.

Finally, it appeared as seen here; back on Battle Picture Library No. 1218, again as “Blaze of Glory” and the orange background.

I suspect under then Orange paint will be found both the blue and the white of earlier versions.

The painting still has the photo-ready transparency overlay featuring the title and the BPL logo featuring the issue number.

The painting measures 30cm x 38cm approx
