You are bidding on this VERY NICE! VINTAGE #113-8 WARREN-TEED 8 POUND WOOD SPLITTING MAUL/AXE HEAD Made In The U.S.A. (see all pics & Video). The maul head is stamped "WARREN-TEED" (Made by the Warren Tool Corp in Ohio) on it, it is a 100% Made in the U.S.A. maul head (see pics). The hammer face is about 2-1/4" in diameter. The hammer face has some hammer marks on it, but NO mushrooming at all (see all pics & vid). The nearly 3-3/4" wide cutting edge is still the original factory ground edge, meaning this edge has not been re-sharpened at all in (see pics). There are some very very very minor chips and nicks on the cutting edge (see pics). There's also some light scratches, ding marks and pitting on all sides of the maul head (see pics). The head actually weighs in at 7 pounds 11.4 oz. (nearly 8 pounds). The head is 9-3/4" long. The axe eye is oval at 2" x 3/4". NOTE: If you look at my last picture you can see a page from a 1960 Warren Tool Corp. catalog with this maul head (see lat pic).
