Vintage Art Deco industrial-style gooseneck desk lamp with a heavy cast-iron base featuring a flexible metal gooseneck arm, rounded metal shade, and pull-chain switch. The base is marked with a patent number and appears to have an Eagle marking.

The lamp has been professionally rewired by an electrician and is in working condition, as shown in the photographs.

The lamp shows extensive age-related wear, oxidation, and deterioration of its painted finishes. The cast-iron base and flexible gooseneck have aged, rusty finishes that are not actively flaking. The exterior of the shade and socket housing have substantial chipped and deteriorating black paint, some of which is loose and may continue to flake off with handling. The shade also has dents and dings. Its interior has been painted silver and shows visible paint drips and other imperfections.

The shade is somewhat loose at its threaded connection and can be turned slightly from side to side, but remains in position as photographed.

The cast-iron base measures approximately 6 3/4 inches long by 5 inches wide, and the metal shade measures approximately 6 inches in diameter.
